Gold Guide - 11th Edition

This Reference Guide is for Postgraduate Specialty Training in the UK and is applicable to all postgraduate doctors in training on taking up appointments in specialty (including GP and Foundation) training which commenced on or after 5th August 2026. The 11th edition published on 5th August 2026 replaces all previous editions of the Gold Guide with immediate effect.
On 15th September 2026 the 11th edition of the Gold Guide was updated to correct a factual inaccuracy in relation to the role of the Responsible Officer and the Postgraduate Dean in section 4.132. No other changes have been made.
